Unit of Examination

The Examination Unit is an Academic Support Unit under the auspices and responsibility of the Deputy Academic Director and the Director of the Polytechnic. For a polytechnic, the Examination Unit is the unit responsible for planning, managing, and implementing all activities related to the coordination and handling of all matters related to examination and certification activities and student assessment based on the guidelines and rules of assessment that have been set. This Unit is entrusted to ensure all aspects related to providing guidance on learning, assessment, control, and examination travel, especially to students. Apart from its main function of issuing assessment results to student results from the decision of the Polytechnic Examination Committee. 

Apart from that, this unit is also responsible for issuing certificates to students who have graduated and students who have passed all examinations and meet all course requirements after obtaining approval from the Certificate /Diploma Awarding Board of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. The Examination Unit is headed by a Head of Unit and 2 Examination Officers appointed by the Polytechnic Education Department and assisted by several Departmental Examination Coordinators appointed from each Academic Department. It also has an Executive Officer, General Office Assistant, and an Administrative Assistant who assist in the back work in the unit. All matters related to the assessment and examination of students are coordinated by this unit.

 

POLYTECHNIC EXAMINATION COMMITTEE 

The Polytechnic Examination Committee is the highest level at the polytechnic level which has been authorized by the Examination Board and Awarding of Polytechnic Certificate/Diploma of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. The function of this Committee is to confirm the results of the examination (except for the final semester) and to ensure that the guidelines and rules of assessment are followed. The Committee is chaired by the Director of the Polytechnic and is composed of Heads of Academic Departments, Examination Officers as well as officers appointed by the Director.

2. Easy access.

3. Secure & reliable.

4. Storage of information on student examination and assessment processes.

5. Ensure the security features of the examination.

6. Managing matters concerning the award. 

 

General Information

IPTA/IPTS credit transfer application

Application need to apply from the Instructional and Digital Learning Division (BIPD) at JPPKK

Applicants must submit the following information:

1. Official letter of curriculum application for the purpose of credit transfer (please include full name, matriculation number, current address, telephone number, and email)

2. Certified Academic Transcript of diploma/certificate;

3. The code and name of the course applied for the purpose of the relevant curriculum production process;

4. Letter of offer for admission to IPTA/IPTS or any related institution.

 

Applicants can submit a complete application based on the information listed either in writing or to the email address provided. The written application must be placed in an envelope by writing "CREDIT TRANSFER APPLICATION" in the left corner of the envelope and must be addressed to:
