The Mechanical Engineering Department (JKM) is the largest of the four academic departments affiliated with this polytechnic. This department employs a trained workforce and is well-equipped with machinery and equipment.
The department has a team of lecturers and staff members who work together to help the department achieve its goals of producing quality semi-professionals who are energetic, innovative, and proactive in the fields of manufacturing, plant engineering, and textiles engineering, as well as the country's vision of achieving full industry status by 2020.
