Department of Student Affairs

INTRODUCTION
Student Affairs Department provides services related to the management of the students’ intake and registration of new students, management of students’ records, monitoring students’ welfare, and disciplinary cases. The department consists of 10 dedicated staff. The functions of the Student Affairs Department are as the following:

 

Management of Students’ Intake and Students’ Record

1. Managing and planning the process of intake for new students.

2. Managing and planning for the registration of new students and senior students.

3. Managing the processes related to students’ request for transfer to other polytechnics, transfer of academic courses and transfer of programs, request of postponement of studies and to quit the programs.

4. Managing the statistics for acceptance of offer letters, data of registration, and enrolment of new students.

5. Managing Input Enrolment Output (IEO).

6. Managing students’ registration cards.

7. Managing students’ personal files.

 

Management of Students’ Welfare and Discipline

1. Managing the students’ insurance coverage, financial help, educational scholarships, educational loans (PTPTN), and sponsors.

2. Monitoring and guiding the activities planned by Student Representative Council.

3. Managing the Students Orientation Week.

4. Managing and planning for disciplinary activities, processing the cases of violation of Act 174 or violation of regulations issued by the institutions, and conducting disciplinary proceedings and appeals cases.

5. Managing the student's vehicle registration, processing the vehicle registration documents, and monitoring the activities of traffic violations in the institution.

 


OBJECTIVES

1. To ensure the latest information related to programs and policies are delivered and circulated among the students.

2. To ensure the processes of students’ intake and registration to polytechnic are conducted efficiently.

3. To ensure students’ records and personal data are up to date and verified for future reference.

4. To ensure statistics of students’ intake and registration are certified and are based on requirements.
