Program Synopsis

The Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Telecommunication) covers a wide range of electronic engineering disciplines, with a specialization in communication technology. This program is designed with the foundation of electrical and electronic engineering which includes mathematics, fundamentals of electricity and electronics, fundamentals of computers and programming, fundamentals of communication systems, semiconductor devices, wiring and computer-aided design that can produce graduates who are skilled and versatile, while emphasizing on areas of specialization at the end of the program. The specialization courses involved in this program are telephony, fiber optic communication systems, data communication and networks, wireless communication and microwave devices.

Apart from the application of technical knowledge and skills, this program also emphasizes the development of students' individual potential in an integrated and holistic manner through courses such as science, technology and engineering in Islam, Malaysian Community Values, Malaysian Studies, co-curricular, employment, safety and health and entrepreneurship.
